Simcat Tabriz Wire & Cable Manufacturing Company was established in 1974 on a site covering more than 54,000 square meters, located 15 kilometers along the Tabriz–Tehran road. The company began its production activities in 1978. In its early years, the company focused on manufacturing insulated wires, copper overhead conductors, and light cables.

In line with expanding production capacity and achieving greater self-sufficiency, the PVC granule production hall was launched in 1986. Equipped with advanced German machinery, this unit produces various types of PVC granules used in the insulation and sheathing of wires and cables. In addition to meeting the company’s internal requirements, this unit also supplies part of the needs of other industries across the country.

The Simcat aluminum wire rod production plant was established in 1996 with an annual capacity of 12,000 tons, and its capacity was expanded in 2007. This unit is capable of producing aluminum wire rods in various grades for the electrical and steel industries, and its products are widely used in major industries throughout the country.

Furthermore, the company’s copper wire rod, tube, and strip production plant began operations in 2000 using European machinery. With an annual capacity of 7,400 tons, it plays a significant role in supplying the needs of various industries.
